A flat in Ladbroke Grove, West London. 1952.

　　When Hester Collyer is found by her neighbours in the aftermath of a failed suicide attempt, the story of her tempestuous affair with a former RAF pilot and the breakdown of her marriage to a High Court judge begins to emerge.

Helen McCrory阿姨表现太棒，感觉剧版和影版的蔚蓝深海讲的几乎不是同一个故事，这个Freddie更符合Hester说的那句“他甚至都算不上太英俊”的飞行员形象。每个人都是破碎的，卡在生活的某处，但总得活下去。如果要硬找缺点，就是法官大人真的各！种！帅！啊！你不给我个抖森我是绝对舍不得出轨的。

没看过电影版，《浴血黑帮》认识的HELEN，后来发现真的演过好多，也是活跃在戏剧舞台上的老戏骨。50年代战后的英国，每个人都在试图寻找自己，每个人都会遇到不那么合适的恋人，导演访谈说情人之于焦虑偏执的女主代表着激情，危险，未曾释放的自己。她想要什么？想要达成什么？想要怎样的生活？

舞台设计很有创意！几位演员表演极富张力，邻居走动即无声的“在场”，加之半透明幕墙营造出“窥视感”。“不管未来怎样，继续啃面包啊”，几年前也写过这样的话。有过这样的心境。在剧院哭惨。剧本构建的两难困境真是无解，生活也是无解。
