The Lack of Shamefulness Awareness and Its Construction in the Social Transformation Period　　HE Xin-chun　　( Lecturer, Dept. of Politics and Law, Gannan Normal University, Ganzhou, Jiangxi 341000)to build up the awareness of shamefulness is proposed under the social circumstance of enhancing the moral education. It' s also an effective way to realize the goal of administration of the country through moral system. The lack of shamefulness awareness has severely hindered the construction process of moral system. The causers for it are various, social and individual. Therefore, in order to build up the shamefulness awareness, a combined measures must be taken, which include enhancing the moral education and the legislation, setting up a correct life philosophy, etc.
树立耻感意识是在社会转型时期加强公民道德建设的背景下提出的，是实现以德治国的有效途径。社会转型时期耻感的缺失，已严重制约着我国公民道德建设的运行、发展和完善。其原因是多方面的，既有社会因素，又有个人因素。因此，必须从加强道德教育，培养道德人格；树立社会主义荣辱观；加强道德立法等途径入手，多管齐下，重建耻感意识。
